Chef Angelo Montes was born on the Italian island of Sicily where he lived until he was ten years old.  His family moved to a town near Milano, Italy where Angelo began cooking in restaurants at the age of 15. Eleven years ago, Chef Angelo and his family moved to St. Paul where Angelo’s youngest son was able to get the medical care he needed at the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Now the Executive Chef at Chianti Grill in Roseville and Burnsville and at Ciatti's in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Chef Angelo will donate a Six Course Dinner for eight people.

While Chef Angelo prepares Italian specialties in your home, you can sip on a glass of wine and listen to stories about Sicily and Italy where good food is a way of life.

Join Paul and Joan Thomas on a scenic flight in their Navion airplane as they take you to the beautiful little river town of Red Wing.  Paul Thomas is a professional pilot who flew for General Mills for fifteen years; Joan also has her pilot’s license.  Their airplane, pictured here, is a classic Navion Rangemaster which is very roomy and seats four people comfortably. The round trip flight time to Red Wing is 1.5 hours with no security problems or lost baggage hassles! Stroll through the charming streets of Red Wing located on the Mississippi River and have lunch with the Thomas’ at The Norton’s  Restaurant.
