Hopkins Public Schools is seeking an energetic person for a Cook 2 position in the School Nutrition Department!  Join a caring and talented team of professionals who create wonderful meals from scratch that provide  our students with nourishment and fuel vital for both their physical and mental wellness!

The School Nutrition/Cook 2 performs a variety of job functions related to high volume, high speed quantity food preparation. Food production concentrated in the command of recipes and procedures for baking, skillet and kettle operation; sanitation, safety, and security; program regulations and accountability and equipment use and care. Also includes; necessary supervisory and teamwork skills, cashiering and customer service focus; assumption or assistance of the duties of the supervisor or manager in their absence and other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor. This position is based out of the high school, with intermittent shifts at other Hopkins sites. 

Salary/Hourly Rate: $16.80 or above based on experience + FT benefits 
Hours of Work:  6-8 hrs/day; Predominately weekdays with flexibility for some evenings and weekends
